”If pictures are worth a thousand words this book is an encyclopedia. Its all photos and great ones at that. Drag racing cars of all genres and the detail shots are great as well. I would rate it as a nostalgic look at the sport from a purists point of view. Forget the very high buck machines as there are not many in here, just good old racing cars like we ordinary people like. A lot of the cars are American models in Europe which gives us a look at how those on the other side of the world appreciate and treat their rides.”

Ein absolut empfehlenswerter Fotoband voller Emotionen und Leidenschaft, den der "Die Gestalten Verlag" auf den Markt gebracht hat (und die mit diesem Buch wieder einmal bewiesen haben, dass sie ein erstklassiges Händchen für Themen am Puls der Zeit haben). Aufgelockert wird das Buch durch Pin-Up Fotografien im Stile der 60/70er Jahre, denn auch in diesem Feld ist Dirk Behlau ziemlich aktiv und umtriebig.

Alles in allem ein echter Killer-Fotoband, den Dirk Behlau geschaffen hat! Für Hot Rodder, Drag Racer, Muscle-Car Maniacs ist dieses Buch sowieso die Offenbarung schlechthin und daher Pflicht!”
